Savvy Spa Goers Rate The Hills Health Ranch as Among the Best in the Nation for Best winter sports

New York, NY – October XX, 2004 – The Hills Health Ranch has been honored with a Spa Finder Readers’ Choice Award as one of the top-10 spas in the nation for winter sports. The Awards are based on a poll of Spa Finder readers and web visitors, among the most sophisticated, active spa-goers in the world. By measuring consumer’s favorite spas across a range of specific spa services and features, the Spa Finder Readers’ Choice Awards represent the most complete annual consumer assessment of the spa market.

“Spa-goers have spoken, and placed The Hills Health Ranch at the very top of their lists for winter sports,” said Spa Finder, Inc. Chairman and CEO Pete Ellis. “This is a tremendous accomplishment given the diversity and quality of stay spas nationwide – a truly meaningful validation of the superb spa experience offered by [The Hills Health Ranch.”

Thousands of readers of Spa Finder publications and visitors to www.spafinder.com cast ballots for nearly 800 premier spa properties nation- and worldwide to determine the Awards winners. Voters were asked to only cast ballots for spas they’ve visited in the past three years. Spa Finder does not reveal rankings in its “Best” categories (who finished first, second, third, etc.) because of the inherent voting advantage larger spas (with more annual visitors) have over smaller spas.

Spa Finder will formally present The Hills Health Ranch with its Readers’ Choice Award at a champagne reception on November 8^th at The Canyon Ranch SpaClub at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.
